Engineers helping engineers became CoderCo. Bringing that technical understanding together with experienced recruiters became Deployd.
01 · Our story
Here’s how we got here.
We started with engineers helping people find their way into technology.
That began with a not-for-profit initiative and grew into CoderCo, founded by three Principal Engineers to help people build practical skills, confidence and careers.
As the community grew, we saw an opportunity to connect those engineers with employers who needed their capability. That became Deployd.

02 · Why Deployd
We knew the talent. We understood the hiring challenge.
We wanted the engineers we helped develop to find roles where they could grow and stay.
As engineers ourselves, we also knew how difficult it can be to hire through someone who doesn’t understand the technical requirements.
Murrad and Abz brought in Emily to build Deployd: a recruitment business combining engineering depth, recruitment experience and access to a community built around practical skills.
03 · The CoderCo connection
A community we have built.
Through CoderCo’s DevOps and MLOps academies, engineers learn through practical projects, live mentorship and support from people working in the industry.
For those we’ve trained, we’ve seen more than a CV. We’ve seen their work, their progress and how they approach a challenge.
