Privacy notice.

How we handle personal information, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated 28 October 2026.

Who we are

Deployd is a technology recruitment business and a sister company of CoderCo. For the information described below, Deployd is the data controller: we decide what is collected and why.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us.

  • Enquiries. When you use our enquiry form or email us, we receive your name, email address, company where you give one, and whatever you write in your message.
  • Candidates. If you get in touch about a role, we hold the details you share with us: your CV, work history, the kind of work you are looking for and our notes from speaking with you.
  • Website use. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To answer your enquiry and to carry out the work you ask us to do. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, or performance of a contract once we are working together.
  • To represent candidates to employers. We ask for your agreement before we send your details to any employer, and we tell you who they are.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations. Our lawful basis is legal obligation.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is needed: with employers we introduce you to, and with the service providers who run our systems, such as website hosting, email and our recruitment records. Those providers act on our instructions. We also share information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for up to two years. Candidate records are kept for up to two years from our last meaningful contact with you, so that we can tell you about relevant roles, after which they are deleted. Records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons are held for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

Where it is held

Our systems are provided by established suppliers who may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
  • correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete it, or restrict what we do with it;
  • send it to you or another provider in a portable format;
  • stop using it, where we rely on legitimate interests.

To make any of these requests, email emily@deploydglobal.io. We respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
